Country Haven Manufactured Housing Community
Country Haven Manufactured Housing Community is a manufactured home park in Hillsboro, Washington County, Oregon, and a 55+ senior community. The park is at 23585 NW Jacobson Rd.
What 55+ means for a buyer
A 55+ park limits who can live there by age, which shapes both sides of a sale. As a buyer, expect the park to verify age as part of its approval. As a seller, your buyer pool is smaller and qualified, so park approval is the step to clear early, not after a price is agreed. Under Oregon law (ORS 90.680), the park may not reject your buyer unreasonably, and it must accept or reject a complete buyer application within 7 days, or 10 days if the required 10-day pre-sale notice was not given.
Questions worth asking the park office
The figures a buyer needs most are the ones this page cannot verify yet: a space rent or a pet policy. Ask the park office for them before you offer:
- current space rent and what it includes
- pet rules
- buyer-approval steps

What has to happen before closing
Before a park-home sale closes, the park must approve the buyer, DCBS must transfer the title, and the county must certify the taxes. Title moves through Oregon DCBS for $55, and only after Form 2952 confirms the taxes are current. Line those three up early and the closing has fewer surprises.
