What "Flat Fee MLS" Actually Means (and What It Doesn't)
October 5, 2026
"Flat fee MLS" gets thrown around a lot. Here is the plain version:
What it means
- You pay one flat fee — with GoOnMLS.com, starting at $99 — instead of a percentage commission.
- Your home is listed on the MLS, the same database agents use.
- The MLS syndicates your listing to the major home-search websites buyers browse every day.
What you handle yourself
- Showings — buyers call you directly.
- Negotiating the price and terms.
- Coordinating with the park on your buyer's application.
What it doesn't mean
- It doesn't mean your home sells itself — pricing and presentation still matter.
- It doesn't guarantee placement on any one specific website — feed lineups change, so we say "major home-search sites" and mean it.
- It doesn't mean zero effort — but it does mean you keep the commission you would have paid.
On a $100,000 sale, a 6% commission is $6,000. A $99 flat fee is $99. That is the whole pitch. See the pricing tiers.
